Transportation and Off-site Hotels

Q:What airport should I fly into?
Denver International Airport

Q: How will I get from the Denver Airport to Fort Collins?
 We have made an arrangements for a discounted rate with Green Ride for shuttles from/to Denver International Airport. Using this link, below, you will be able to make your own shuttle arrangements for a round trip fare of $58.

NOTE: The discount window has been set for July 2- July 19th, ie: arriving no earlier than July 2 and departing no later than July 19 - if booking outside of this window, the discount link will display an error message. Although it prompts for a special code at the bottom of the landing page, this is not required- the code has been built into the link. 

Q: Are there any hotels deals if I don’t want to stay in the dorms?
Yes, we have deals with the Hilton and Best Western.

Dorms at Colorado State University

All rooms have personally controlled air conditioning. Each room will have either one or two twin beds that are made before your arrival.

Each bed will have linens that fit the extra long beds, pillows, and blankets. Towels, wastebaskets, recycle bins, and soap will be provided. You will use your towels from the dorms in the pool. Parents may want to bring name-labeled pool towels for the children to use. Linens can be exchanged daily if needed.

Q: What’s not included?
Hangers, bedside/reading lamps, and clocks are NOT included.

Q: Are the rooms air-conditioned?
Yes, each room has its own set of controls.

Q: Are there kitchen facilities in the dorms we can use?
Yes, one on each floor. We ask that you label your food and throw it away before you leave Kallah.

Q: Is there a fridge for medications or formula?
Yes, please label. We will have a refrigerator in the ALEPH office if you would like to store it there.

Q: Can I rent a fridge for my room?
Shared refrigerators are on each floor. A limited number of dorm-sized refrigerators are available for rental ($120). If you want to reserve one for your room, please indicate that choice in your registration.

Colorado State University Information

Q: How long is the walk from the dorms to the classes?
It’s about an easy 10-15 minute walk from the Laurel Village housing & dining facility to the Lory Student Center where classes will take place.   

Q: I have mobility issues, how will I get around campus?
We will have golf carts & vans to assist guests during transition times between programs and meals.

Check In and Check Out Times

Q: What day do I check in?
Kallah 2016 starts Monday, July 11.

Registration check-in time on July 11 starts at 1 pm - dinner is included.

The Kallah formally begins at 3:30 pm

Check-out time on July 17 is 9 am.

Breakfast on July 17 is 7 am to 8 am.

Q: May I come in on Sunday, July 10th?
Yes, please let us know in your registration that you are coming on Sunday afternoon and will join us for dinner. There is an extra fee of $90. We cannot accommodate early Sunday July 10 registration without an advance reservation that includes this choice.

Check-in time on July 10 is 4 pm - dinner is included.

Kallah 2016 starts Monday, July 11.

Check-in time on July 11 starts at 1 pm - dinner is included.

Registration check-in begins after 1 pm on Monday.

The Kallah formally begins at 3:30 pm

Check-out time on July 17 is 9 am.

Breakfast on July 17 is 7 am to 8 am.


On campus parking is available for everyone.  There is no charge for parking on campus, but a parking permit is required. To receive a parking permit, you must provide your name and auto license number when you check in upon arrival at Kallah (we suggest you take a photo of your license plate and bring it with you).

Rec Center and Pool

Q: Can we use the pool and gym?
Yes, you will need to buy a day pass to use the recreation center. The pool and workout center are state-of-the-art, clean and brand-new. The cost per day is $5 for adults. The fee is included in Kids Kallah. Children will be able to swim each day. There is a zero depth end of the pool, lazy river, climbing wall, basketball hoop and swim space.

Post Office

The post office is located in the dorms.

CSU Library

We can use the CSU library for email, internet and borrowing books. It is located near Lory Student Center.


There are pay per use laundry facilities in each of the dorms. Detergent is sold in the laundry rooms.

ATM Machine

There is an ATM machine in the lower level of Durrell Dining Hall and on campus.
