In-Person ALEPH Retreats and Events COVID-19 Policy

Will I need to be vaccinated to participate in an overnight retreat or ALEPH event?

No, we will require COVID-19 testing on the day of your arrival and possibly during the retreat.

Will I have to wear masks at ALEPH events, even if I am fully vaccinated?

Masks are optional for this retreat, but welcomed.

Is the ALEPH policy and protocol consistent with other mandated guidelines?

We believe this policy is entirely consistent with the CDC guidance, erring on the side of prudent caution.

How often will this policy and protocol be updated?

ALEPH leadership will review the policy and protocol before each retreat.

While we recognize that aspects of this policy and protocol are less than ideal, we are committed to keeping our guests as safe as possible.

Does this policy and protocol prevent all risk of contracting COVID-19?

While we practice an abundance of caution with this protocol, there is no way to reduce all risks of contracting COVID-19. We recommend that all highly vulnerable persons exercise their own judgment when determining whether to participate.

ALEPH may offer a partial refund (minus credit card processing fees and costs) for any participant who needs to withdraw from a program/retreat due to possible exposure to or contracting COVID-19.

We recognize that guests will arrive with various and diverse perspectives on their own perceived level of risk and on appropriate levels of preventive practices. Despite this diversity, we ask all guests to minimally respect the policy and protocol established by ALEPH.

If you have any questions regarding the retreat, please contact Rabbi Shefa Gold: shefa@windstream.net.

Program Fee(s)
The Retreat Fee includes a $500 tuition fee, room and board (meals are included for commuters), as well as the 3% T'rumah Financial Aid Fee. In the spirit of T'rumah ("gift" or "offering"), everyone who participates in an ALEPH program contributes to the T'rumah Financial Aid Fund via a 3% registration fee. The fee enables ALEPH to make programs financially accessible to as many participants as possible.
