Shavuot With Reb Zalman, z”l

As many of you know, for Reb Zalman, z”l, our holy teacher, Shavuot was an especially important and significant holiday. Even during his later years, he and his beloved wife, Rebbetzin Eve Ilsen, would teach Torah deep late into the night and early morning, recognizing the unique energy and connection imbued in this holy time.

This year, for Shavuot 5777, thanks to the generosity of Rabbi Sarah Leah Grafstein and Spirit of the Desert Productions, we invite you to seize the opportunity to take the holy energy space of Shavuot, to study with Reb Zalman z”l in a four part class entitled “The Space Within” from 2004, filmed at Elat Chayim. In this workshop, by utilizing unique spiritual technologies, you will have the opportunity to explore and discover your innermost self, heal the planet, and renew your own personal practice.

Shavuot, the Feast of Weeks, occurs seven weeks after Passover, which is no coincidence as seven is in the Torah, and seven is a number of transformation, re-birth and renewal. Shavuot is a holiday that is often misunderstood and yet greatly steeped in spiritual meaning. Every year, we are given the incredible opportunity to stand again at Mount Sinai, just as we are, and choose to receive the Divine message, to hear the holy words; with a full and open heart. Shavuot is a holiday that celebrates words and celebrates learning. Therefore, it is only fitting that at this time, when we open our hearts to fully receive and self-explore, that we also allow ourselves the exquisitely valuable personal time to journey on the path of spirit.
