Explore the ALEPH Ordination Program

ALEPH: Alliance for Jewish Renewal is excited to announce an online open house event for individuals interested in exploring the ALEPH Ordination Program. The open house will take place on Tuesday, October 10th, offering two sessions at 11:00 AM ET and 7:30 PM ET.

The ALEPH Ordination Program (AOP) is a transformative educational experience that empowers individuals to become innovative, spiritually grounded, and socially conscious Jewish leaders. The program is designed to explore spirituality through a God-centered lens and to expand the God Field in the world. 

If you’re considering ordination as a rabbi, cantor, or rabbinic pastor, this open house is your chance to learn about the AOP approach to education for Jewish spiritual leadership.

During this online event, you will learn about:

  1. Our Leadership and Faculty: Interact with our deans and faculty members who are dedicated to preparing Jewish spiritual leaders for today’s world from the unique perspective of Jewish Renewal.
  2. Three Ordination Paths: Gain insights into the commonalities and distinctions among rabbinic, cantorial, and rabbinic pastor studies and their respective roles.
  3. Our Curriculum: Get an in-depth look at our comprehensive curriculum, which integrates traditional Jewish wisdom with contemporary perspectives, fostering a holistic and progressive approach to Jewish leadership through deep spiritual development..
  4. Four Worlds Pedagogy: At the core of this program is the Kabbalistic Four Worlds framework, embracing mystical understanding and experiences through our course offerings.  Participants will engage with spiritual, artistic, and embodied perspectives, creating a unique and profound educational experience.
  5. Application Process: Learn about the application process, requirements, and deadlines, ensuring you’re well-prepared to embark on this transformative educational journey.
