The community at ALEPH would like to sincerely congratulate Rabbi Prof. Elisa Klapheck. On March 16th, AOP Graduate R’ Klapheck received an honorary plaque from the city of Frankfurt in Germany. The plaque is to honor those who make a contribution in municipal politics, culture, and economics. R’ Klapheck has family roots in Frankfurt and is the Rabbi of one of its liberal synagogues, Egalitär Minjan. She is also professor of Jewish Studies at the University of Paderborn.
