SHABBAT AFTERNOON WORKSHOP: Sacred Sex: The Interconnection Between Spirituality and Sexuality

Rabbi Terry Bookman (he/him), ordained by the Hebrew Union College in 1984, exists to be a connector—connecting people to themselves (allowing for awareness and insight, as well as wholeness and personal growth); to one another (creating sacred community); and to God (linking themselves to The Ineffable in all they do in life). While his primary “container” is Judaism, which challenges us all to lead a life of holiness, he draws from the wealth of truths discovered in all faith traditions, yoga and meditation, the human potential movement, psychology, literature, science, the arts, popular culture, leadership and organizational theory, philosophy, politics, anthropology, and history—and always with a sense of humor. He is the co-founder and Director of Eitzah: The Center for Personal and Communal Transformation, as well as the author of five books on personal and planetary spirituality, and the co-author of three albums of sacred Jewish music.
