Kallah 2023 Work/Study and Volunteer Opportunities

Kallah could not come to fruition without the incredible work of our work/study and volunteers. If you would like to participate in work/study or volunteer opportunities before, during, or after Kallah, we would be thrilled to have you!

Work/study allows you the opportunity to pay off a portion of your registration fees by supporting the event. Volunteering is for those who wish to give back to Kallah by offering their time. A list of opportunities and their descriptions can be found below. There are roles to be done before and after Kallah, roles that require the support of local participants, roles that rely on those with physical strength, roles that can be done fully seated, roles that have more public-facing interaction, as well as roles for those who prefer to be a bit more behind-the-scenes. We welcome all who wish to participate. Kallah simply couldn’t happen without participants taking on each of these roles.

Our work/study and volunteers are lovingly referred to as bonim—our builders. Each of our work/study participants and volunteers are the builders who create the building blocks on which the magic of Kallah stands. We are beyond grateful to each of you who choose to support and honor Kallah in this way. Our bonim are our foundation!

To apply for our work/study and volunteer opportunities, you MUST fill out the application here. We will be in touch via email once your application has been processed. After that, you’ll be able to select the dates and times you will be participating in the work/study and volunteer program. All slots are first-come, first-served, so we encourage you to apply as soon as you’re ready. If you have any questions, please reach out to us at kallah@aleph.org.
